Has Anyone Had Items Stolen on a Princess Cruise?

Posted by admin on August 13th, 2010 and filed under princess cruise | 5 Comments »

Has anyone had items stolen on a princess cruise? If so, can you please tell me how Princess dealt with the situation. Thank you for all responses!

I’ve also been on several cruises, including Princess, and I have never ever had anything stolen.

Is there free internet everywhere on a princess cruise?

Posted by admin on August 13th, 2010 and filed under princess cruise | 5 Comments »

I am going on the sapphire princess cruise this summer, and I was wondering if they provide free internet for you everywhere… or do you have to go to the internet cafe?
so there isn’t internet everywhere, but if you go to the internet cafe, is there internet????? and freeeeeeeeeee?

You have to buy a package of minutes, whereever you are on board, except if your cabin is a full suite.

Do children need photo IDs on Caribbean cruises?

Posted by admin on August 13th, 2010 and filed under caribbean cruises | 1 Comment »

We have a 10 and a 12 year old and we are sailing from Miami to Bahamas ports and back to Miami. We understand that we as adults need birth certificates and photo IDs. What about the kids? Will birth certificates be enough?

No, just their birth certificate.

Anyone ever been on Star Princess or Caribbean Princess cruises?

Posted by admin on August 13th, 2010 and filed under caribbean cruises | 4 Comments »

Thinking about taking one of these 2 cruises to the Western or Eastern Caribbean in January. Any reviews? What’s the anytime dining like? Thanks for your answers.

I went on Caribbean Princess last November. I opted for traditional seating. You do have a choice. I like to get aquainted with the people so that the conversations go a little deeper than- Hey what’s your name? Where are you from? etc, etc… I get enough of that just from breakfast and lunch.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not an antisocial person, but having the same conversation over and over again leaves me exhausted by the middle of the cruise. I like to get to know people so that by the time the second day rolls around you can pretty much be comfortable with each other.

Also, just my two cents- I liked Royal Caribbean way better than Princess. With Princess the tips are charged daily and I have a theory that when they know they are getting tipped anyway, they are less likely to go the extra mile for you. On Royal Caribbean they have incentive to give good service with hopes they will be rewarded for it…

Hope this helped!

Has anyone met a guy named Errol on Royal Caribbean Cruises?

What ship was Errol on ? When ?

There was a server named Errol on the mariner of the seas but that was last May.

Are the Monsters from MVA part of the mascots in the Royal Caribbean cruises?

Posted by admin on August 13th, 2010 and filed under royal caribbean cruises | 1 Comment »

I just read an article on the Miami Herald, from Independence Day 2010, that characters from DreamWorks’ animated films are to be the mascots for the Royal Caribbean cruise line this December. However, there’s no mention on the Monsters (from Monsters vs. Aliens), including the Missing Link (who is my favorite character from the film), being part of the line.

Are you pretty sure that the Monsters are part of the mascots, too?

They could be, but I’m not sure. However, have you ever seen someone in a B.O.B. costume? I don’t know if you should see a costume made of gelatin. But I’m pretty sure you may see Missing Link or Dr. Cockroach costumes.
