I am going on the sapphire princess cruise this summer, and I was wondering if they provide free internet for you everywhere… or do you have to go to the internet cafe?
so there isn’t internet everywhere, but if you go to the internet cafe, is there internet????? and freeeeeeeeeee?
You have to buy a package of minutes, whereever you are on board, except if your cabin is a full suite.

There is no such thing as free internet on a cruise ship.
If you bring your own laptop, you can connect with that in buying minutes by entering your stateroom and name etc – it will be billed to your account.
You should have a signal in most places around the ship.

I have been on the Sapphire Princess along with many other Princess ships and there is no such thing as free internet. You must pay for it. The charges are by the minute or you can purchase a package deal. But if your a platinum or elite member, then you do get internet pretty much for free. You can get in at both the internet cafe, in the library and in some places in the atrium too.

Being a platinum or elite member means you have cruised a lot with Princess.

Internet on all ships is not free. It is actually quite expensive. In some places, you can use the internet from your laptop, but if you do not have a laptop, you have to go to the internet cafe.
If you sail with Princess several times (5 cruises or 50 cruise days), then you get free internet minutes. I believe it is something liek 200.

John, you clearly haven’t read the information the other posters have offered.
So I’ll put it in simple language and capital letters for you:
NO FREE INTERNET ANYWHERE ON THE SHIP
