Can I bring a power strip aboard a princess cruise ship?

Posted by admin on November 23rd, 2011 and filed under princess cruise | 4 Comments »

Tomorrow I’m leaving on a princess cruise with my family. Since I know cabins generally have only a couple power outlets per cabin and I need more for my camera, laptop, phone, etc and my little brothers DS game, would it be a wise choice to bring it or will it get confiscated? I need to know soon!

yes you can ,it comes in very handed

at what ports do cruise ship start their cruises at in the caribbean?

Posted by admin on November 23rd, 2011 and filed under caribbean cruises | 4 Comments »

would like to spend a week on land in the caribbean before starting a cruise for another week

For the major cruise lines, other than the US ports, you have your choice of San Juan, PR, Colon, Panama, Cartagena, Columbia, at least for Royal Caribbean.

The other cruise lines do have a few ships that start in San Juan, PR, and one cruise line did start in Barbados, but I am not sure if that itinerary is available anymore.

And some of the more esoteric cruise lines do start in other locations.

I want to sail on royal caribbean but i want to know if kids sail free

No unfortunatly they do not sail for free, but you can get child prices for them if they under a certain age.

What are the cheap prices for kids on royal caribbean cruises?

Posted by admin on November 23rd, 2011 and filed under royal caribbean cruises | 7 Comments »

does the price get cheaper when more people come

tickets are based on 2 per cabin. the first 2 people will pay full price regardless of age. persons 3 and 4 will pay less, but not always a lot less. even infants still must pay taxes and port fees.

Disney occasionally has Kids sail Free promos. one free kid for every Adult paying full price.

London Architecture seen from a River Thames Cruise (HD)

Posted by admin on November 21st, 2011 and filed under river crruises | 5 Comments »

here is no better way to see many of the landmarks of London than from the River Thames. And there’s no better time to do this than in the evening as twilight descends over the city, and it lights into life.

In this episode, travel with us on a river cruise and watch the night descend over some fascinating architecture from the Houses of Parliament and Millennium Wheel to Battersea Power Station and the MI5 Intelligence HQ building.

Technical note: In order to maximize your viewing enjoyment (and to prevent ‘motion-sickness’) a great deal of image stabilization has been applied, both during recording and in post-production. The result is an amazingly smooth watching experience but you may find that the high definition pictures may a little ’soft’ on detail in places.

Part 1a Royal Caribbean Cruise St Lucia Cosol Tour

Posted by admin on November 13th, 2011 and filed under caribbean cruises | 1 Comment »

Royal Caribbean – Adventure of the Seas – Cruise.
Our second stop was the Island of St Lucia.
March 2011
In this video we are leaving the port.
- Stopped at the Dragon or Lady slipper in the water Caribbean Sea.
- Saw some after math of Oct Hurricane
- Stopped at Banana Plantation for snack and explanation.
- And the man with the wonderful bird feeders.
You see Cosol at the end of this video arriving with his group.

This is the best Island Tour we have ever been on. We have been on more than a few.

Cosol Tours – we researched and found many good reviews for this tour group. We sent an email and received a prompt response and booked it. We were lucky enough to have a private car for our tour – the mini bus tours were having lots of fun as well.

We left the port at 8:30am and returned at 4:00pm.
For the money and experience and service there is no better tour company than Cosol Tours.
We were well looked after. Breakfast of very good local foods, made by a wonderful lady, Claudia. More than enough for everyone including drivers/guides
Beer/refreshment van was at every major stop and there were many stops. We were all well looked after.
I can not say enough wonderful things about this experience or our driver/tour guide Alex.
This exceeded all our expectations. Other tours could learn much from this wonderful group of individuals.
Many thanks for your time and patience Alex and everyone else involved.
