im going on a cruise on the golden princess and wanna know if the teen club is fun or really stupid.
Hey, I haven’t been on the Golden Princess, but I have been on a princess cruise a year ago. When I went they didn’t force you to do anything like the other responder said. I only went to the teen club like 3 times or something, because there were so many other things I wanted to do. At the teen place they have different games (air hockey, fooseball, the best game systems out there, and a bunch of other stuff), music (new stuff, don’t worry). Everything on Princess is kind of free, they don’t force you to do anything. And if you don’t like the teen club – there are a TON of other stuff to do!!! There are more pools then you want to count, putting course, golf symulator, entertainment (broadway, comedians, musicians, magicians….), parties every night… Basically don’t worry about it, you will have fun, unless you go with the ultimate purpose of being bored. Hope you have a great time.
How is the teen club in the golden princess cruise?
Princess Cruise Lines or Carnival Cruise Lines?
My husband and I are planning on going on a cruise in the next couple of months. What cruise line is better (we are going to Mexico)… Carnival Splendor or Sapphire Princess?
Thank you.
First up, both are owned by Carnival. But Princess is a more upscale line. I would sail either line, but at the same price point I’d definitely go Princess.
Good luck!
What are the perks for honeymooners on a Royal Caribbean Cruise?
My fiancee and I are planning to go on a cruise after we get married next month. And we are trying to decide which cruise line has the best perks for honeymooners?
We have read good reviews about Royal Caribbean and we were wondering about the perks this cruise line has for honeymooners. The ship we are particularly looking to book is the Sovereign of the Seas for a 3night cruise to the Bahamas.
Thank you.
OMG I love Royal Caribbean!!!! I have been on 3 of there cruises!

What would be the best Royal Caribbean cruise ship?
My family consists of my parents who are 57 and 51, my brother who will be 21 at the time and myself at 18 years old. I’m planning our vacation for this summer and we’re taking a Royal Caribbean cruise somewhere in the Caribbean–probably the western islands. It’s our first cruise but we have no idea which ship is a good choice since there are so many of them..any suggestions?
or even a different cruise line if you think a different one would be better for my family.
I would say any of their Voyager class ships–these include the Explorer, Adventure, Navigator, and Mariner of the seas. Also I heard the Freedom is great. I have been on a 7 cruises and the Adventure of the Seas was favorite, however it sails the southern Caribbean out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The best thing to do is find a destination you want to go to and go from there.

What is the difference between Carnival and Princess Cruise Line?
Looking to take an Alaskan Cruise in July of 2010 and I am comparing prices and Carnival is alot cheaper alomost by $1000.00. Just wondering why??
Princess is supposedly a slightly better cruise, though there’s nothing wrong with Carnival, especially to Alaska.
You can compare what past cruisers thought of their cruises on specific ships by going to CruiseCritic.com, clicking on "Reviews", then reading the "Member Reviews". Lots more great info if you click on "Boards". If you click on "Cruise Styles" you’ll find the different lines and ships discussed in terms of various demographics, e.g. "Romantic", "Family", etc.
Have you ever been on the Princess Gold cruise?
My husband, kids and my parents are going on the Princess Gold cruise ship next week and Im so excited but have you been on that cruise ship before? Is it a fun one? What can I expect and all that?
Thanks!
Do you mean the golden princess? if so you will love the ship. I have been on it twice, once in Europe & once in the western carribean. Deck 5,6,7 are very elegant. That is where the main entertainment and shops are. The pools are up top I think deck 14. Deck 14 is also the buffet court. For kids they have a special area just for them. They have a gym, a hair salon, a spa, several swimming pools and hot tubs, two main dinning rooms, plus other dining rooms where you can pay extra for a fabulous meal. Of course they also have a walking deck(7), and a jogging area, plus if I remember basketball hoops too. Every day you will get the princess patter delivered to your room. It tells you everything that is going on for the day so you can plan you day. If you don’t want to gain too much weight on your cruise, I suggest you eat in the dinning room instead of the buffet court because there is less temptation. If you are going to the carribean, wait to you see the dessert tables one day. Unbelievable! You will just have so much fun. I wish I was going too.
Royal Caribbean cruise transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral?
Can anyone tell me the best/cheapest way to get from Orlando International Airport to wherever Royal Caribbean launches their cruise ships from Port Canaveral? Some kind of shuttle thing would be great, or if you have any idea about a rough estimate for cab service or a bus. Thanks.
We did this is February and will be doing it again in April. The shuttles are expensive upwards of $100 each way. We rented a car at Orlando for $30, dropped it off in Port Canaveral and took the free shuttle to the ship! It was easy and cheap. We used Enterprise and had no problem. We did the exact reverse for our way back.
A huge benefit of having a car is you can stop at the store get a few things for the cruise, take your time etc. We had a lot of time between the cruise getting in and our fight out so we drove around the Canaveral Area, spotting great wild life and beautiful beaches.
This is the cheapest way to go, maybe not as convenient as a shuttle but much more flexible too.
You can e-mail me if you need to.
Does Royal Caribbean cruises sell cameras onboard?
I need a camera for my cruise but I won’t be able to get one in time. Specifically, I want a digital camera. I assume they sell disposable cameras on board, but does anyone know if they sell digital ones? I’m not looking for an expensive and crazy camera, just something I can use on my trip and however long it works for after that.
(Best answer will go whoever answers FIRST with the CORRECT answer. My cruise is coming up quick so I need an answer ASAP! thanks!!!)
i know they sell disposable cameras on board in the gift shop and some RC ships have very elaborate shopping on board. if you stop in St Thomas, there are several stores in Havensight (dock area) that sell cameras
