I’m planning to go to this cruise but i don’t know if its fun for teenagers or its just specialized for adults.
There are not many younger people on princess cruises. That being said, they will have as much fun as they want to. The trip is what you make it. There is lots to do on board.

Can’t book with P&O so this is the next option – will there be anyone onboard who is younger than 40??? Have checked and these cruises seem more geared towards an older population. Anyone had any experience with princess cruises? It’s sailing in November from Sydney around New Zealand and back.
I have been on Princess a number of times. There demographic is definitely an older crowd but there are always passengers from all demographics aboard a ship. Princess has a lot of exotic and >7 day itineraries that appeal to people who have more money any time. Those folks tend to not be under 40. They have a very good product but there might be some other choices like Royal Caribbean that you can look at as well.
With that being said I would highly recommend you call an independent qualified cruise specialist as they can answer any questions. They will also help you narrow down what you are specifically looking for in your next vacation and match the right cruise for you at the right price point.

How is the Royal Caribbean Western Caribbean cruise?
We have been on a Royal Caribbean Canada/New England cruise, Royal Caribbean Eastern Caribbean cruise, and a Holland America Canada/New England cruise. This summer we are going on the July 6 Freedom of the Seas Western Caribbean cruise. How is that?
We just did a 7-night western Caribbean on the RC Liberty of the Seas and it was awesome!!!!!!!!

We did the exact same trip, except we were in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
We had a great time on our first cruise and I would do it again tomorrow!!!!!

what does a wrist band for unlimited soft drinks cost on Royal Caribbean cruises?
Most cruise lines charge $4 to $6 a day for "fountain" drinks, not canned. A regular can of soda is about $2. Therefore you must drink 2-3 a day to break even. You can always bring your own soda on board with no problems. There is always free ice tea, coffee, and sometimes punch.
