I’m trying to track the princess cruises Liner – The Dawn Princess, but can only find a 3 day old map on google. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. It’s just for interest as my Parents are on board.
The easy way to see is to go to Princess Web site and use the webcam feature…..It tells you where the ship is currently located and gives you a picture too!
My Niece got married on June 19 the grooms grandma died the same day – They decided not to go on their honeymoon cruise on June 20 – wanted to be with the family as grandma was not sick and her death was very sudden and unexpected – princess cruise will not let the take another cruise because they did not purchase insurance. Young couple just starting out – will not be able to pay for another cruise
Take what Tinker said one step further. Instead of writing to the President of Princess. Send a letter to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Carnival Corporation, the owners of Princess. His name is:
Micky Arison
Chairman of the Board & CEO, Carnival Corporation
3655 N W 87th Avenue
Miami, FL 33178-2428
Plead your case and send a copy of the death certificate, a wedding photo and a wedding invitation (if available) to verify the wedding date.
While they may say too bad because your niece didn’t purchase trip insurance, they may also be willing to help by offering either a replacement cruise or at least a substantially discounted cruise.
Good luck1
One thing I remembered when on cruises is noticing that there are not very many teens and if so they are with their parents. And they also have their own clubs that they can go as well (teen clubs). Spring break and cruises on the weekends you will still find more adult young people but I realized that it’s not that exciting for teenagers because they tend to feel like they are missing out on most of the fun.
I’m thinking about going on a cruise with a few friends over winter break, but I’m wondering what the drinking age would be. Some of my friends are already 21+ but I’m only 19, and I want to know if I’d be excluded form any of the fun. Since its in the caribbean and not technically on US soil, how old do you have to be?
To drink alcohol, most cruise lines require guests to be 21. The only exceptions are:
NCL allows guests 18-20 to drink beer and wine with the consent of an accompanying parent or guardian, once the ship is 3 miles or more away from U.S. waters.
Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara allow guests aged 18-20 to drink alcohol with the consent of an accompanying parent or guardian — but only on cruises in Europe, Asia and Australia.

Hope this helps.
We are a family of 7 (6 adults and 1child) . We have priced a Royal Caribbean cruise for later this year and the travel specialist for royal caribbean told us it would be close to $800 for 4 people each in an inside room. Carnival only charges about $515 for 3 people in a room for a 7-night cruise. Why so expensive with Royal Caribbean?
Royal Caribbean has better quality. It also depends on the port you are leaving from and what type of room and where it is located on the ship, and what ship you are on.
The price for the 1st and 2nd guest should be more, and the 3rd and 4th guest will be cheaper, sharing 1 room.

im going on a cruise with my family and we want royal caribbean cruise with a surf pool or one with a surf pool and waterpark or what your fave royal caribbean cruise is please write the name of the actual ship thxx
Okay, the Royal Caribbean Ships that have the "Flow Rider" and the "H2O Zone" are on the Freedom Class. The "H2O Zone" is the waterpark, complete with interactive sculpture fountains, ground geysers and a cascading waterfall.
The ships in the Freedom Class are:
1. Freedom of the Seas
(Eastern Caribbean/Western Caribbean leaving from Port Canaveral FL)
2. Liberty of the Seas
(Eastern/Western/Bahamas leaving from Miami)
3. Independence of the Seas (Western/Eastern Caribbean AND Trans-atlantic leaving from Ft. Lauderdale)
ALSO : The new Oasis Class
Oasis of the Seas (Eastern and Western Caribbean leaving from Ft. Lauderdale)
Coming in 2010 Allure of the Seas(Eastern Caribbean leaving from Ft. Lauderdale)
So, my dad and stepmom are going on the inagural (first) cruise for the Oasis, but we’ve been on 10 RC cruise. Two on the Freedom! They are great ships – HUGE! So much to do. But really all three Freedom Class ships are the same, so which ever you chose they all have what you want. And of course the newest ships have them too, and they’re even bigger and better!
hope this helps you and enjoy your cruise!
